What about Gliophorus psittacinus
Good call, totally slipped my mind. I've never found them in person, so I guess they're added to the bucket list :). Looks like they grow in a variety of habitats on several different continents, have you ever found them?
I personally have not found Glioporus but have been present when someone else has found them
So I have seen them in person! I do not remember where.
I came across “chicken lips” somewhere. Maybe Acadia. I’ll find my photos. So aptly named!
